There have been a lot of talk of Jordan Peterson.
Jordan Bernt Peterson is a Canadian clinical psychologist, cultural critic, and professor of psychology at the University of Toronto. His main areas of study are in abnormal, social, and personality psychology, with a particular interest in the psychology of religious and ideological belief, and the assessment and improvement of personality and performance.
Peterson recently received plenty of headlines while being interview on the BBC Channel 4 with Cathy Newman, a leftist Social Justice Warrior Feminist who had a one on one discussion with Peterson on various topics that has given him attention. This interview was the shot heard against all Post-Modernist Socialist Morons who wish to cram their views down our throats. This video has the highlight of what took place.
Peterson will every now and then speak about religion and spirituality but never seem to put a clear label of his own personal beliefs, whether a Christian or something else.
I found this video a few days ago and thought it was interesting since he doesn’t like to put himself in a box or label himself anything but I would say this is the closest we will get to him making any claim concerning his Faith.
He also has an extensive series on his YouTube page about The Psychological Significance of the Biblical Stories
It seems he isn’t as clear or precise with his words on Christianity or whether he even labels himself one. He uses “biblical phrases” such as “Logos” and such but that really doesn’t cut the mustard nowadays.
I believe the Council is planning a discussion concerning Jordan Peterson and his view on Gender Equality.
I would like to pursue an effort to actually try to get Jordan Peterson on the Council show sometime. He’s currently doing a lot of book tour discussions and doing a YouTube search of him, you’ll notice he has no problem getting on Skype or Google Hangouts and have an open discussion. If this happens, I would love to have Vincent the Fake Bahnsen and Tyler Vela on the interview concerning his views on Christianity and other philosophical topics.
