Etched in Steel

The American Athests Bible “Contradictions” Refuted. There is a quote by Johnathan Swift that goes “Falsehood flies, and truth comes limping after it.” That is to say, it is easy to spread misinformation, and it takes time and work for the truth to come out. There are few examples better than the American Atheists “Bible Contradictions” page on their website. (Found here: https://www.atheists.org/activism/resources/biblical-contradictions/ ) To start, let me just say I’m disappointed. I expected so much more from the group that claims its non-profit status is to defend the civil liberties of atheists. I mean, these people are on t.v., … Continue reading Etched in Steel

Flying High , Crashing Hard

This continues our series of Thibodaux failing to comprehend why he is wrong. So, I’ll waste my time in another response: Our objector crashes and burns again. @I’ve stated that either this means the pardon is effectual unless one believes, which then means limited atonement is the case in a strange form. “Pardon is effectual unless one believes?” So we’re pardoned unless we believe, therefore if we believe, we’re not pardoned? I’m not sure this guy even knows what he’s saying…. This is a grammatical mistake in the prior article that was fixed. @”Or Christ atones for everyone in the … Continue reading Flying High , Crashing Hard

A Winning Proposition

His semen was also found on several other rape victims. He's a serial rapist and a child rapist. And then his DNA was found on a raped and murdered woman. He's deserves to die. None of the people defending him would ever let this scumbag stay the night at their house. — Matt Walsh (@MattWalshBlog) November 11, 2019 The left finds itself standing and defending a serial rapist. Now, it really isn’t out of character for the left you do so. We just got past a judge almost forcing a boy to be a girl because a twisted mothers fantasy … Continue reading A Winning Proposition

Rekindling Owen

Our objector raises a few more confused objections, positing a nonsensical idea that the atonement somehow makes men ‘neutral,’ which I do not believe at all, nor know of anyone who does. @Either Christ atones for the sins of people when they believe and thus limited atonement is true in some regard. This is understood by the idea that the imputation both ways only occur when someone believes. But Christ died 2000 years ago for the sins of all as Thibodaux states. Christ atoned for the sins of all, but such that forgiveness is contingent upon faith in Him. Who … Continue reading Rekindling Owen

Transgender Hinduism

I remember discussing with a college student the issue of transgenderism. I challenged the distinction between gender and sex and pushed it further on being absurd. They then pulled out their textbook for one of their classes(Humanities) and they referred to the Hindu religion as a sort of proof for transgenderism.  1. From my understanding, most leftists are not Hindus. So, it really isn’t relevant to what arguments I would use. The idea that transgenderism is found in ancient cultures is irrelevant to whether one ought to think there exist more than two genders. How many silly ideas have existed … Continue reading Transgender Hinduism

Traditionalist Intuitions

There was a thread on Facebook that I participated in discussing Calvinism. Here is my edited helpful form of a confused conversation: Leighton Flowers: If you redefine human freedom to mean “doing as one desires when those desires are theistically determined,” then sure. But normal people don’t do that. Just Calvinists. Brian Knapp: Leighton Flowers actually no – not all compatibilists are calvinists. And to say “redefine” is to beg the question. And to use the word “normal” as you did is to poison the well. Congrats – you’re 0 for 3. Phillip Jackson: Brian Knapp what poor refutation, my … Continue reading Traditionalist Intuitions

Refuting Catholic Authority

I like Pastor Winger for willing to stand against the errors of Rome in a stranger fashion from most classical apologist(William Lane Craig, Michael Jones, etc)  I also recommend this article pared with it because it corrects certain statements passed over: http://triablogue.blogspot.com/2019/10/refuting-catholic-authority.html Here are his other videos in regards to Roman Catholicism: Catholicism Evaluated Biblically Continue reading Refuting Catholic Authority
