Weaponized Racism

https://www.nationalreview.com/2019/02/hate-crime-hoaxes-reflect-americas-sickness/ Jussie Smollett was accepted by the Liberal media without question. He wasn’t to be doubted or questioned and if you did you were a homophobe racist. It is always good to watch liberals fall on their face when they put all their chips on something and lose. Believe it or not, but violence against African Americans is not as high as the media presents it. But that is merely one of their many weapons. They use this issue to push every one of their other issues. They view society as an immoral competition between races and social classes. African Americans have … Continue reading Weaponized Racism

Bishop Barron’s Pelagianism

John Bugay is a Christian apologist that specializes in areas dealing with Roman Catholicism. He watched the discussion between Ben Shapiro and Bishop Robert Barron and said this: And I think this is what is meant by saying that Vatican II invited in Pelagianism. I think that a pre-Vatican II Roman Catholic would have real trouble understanding what Barron is saying, precisely because Rome worked hard (up to that point, I would say) to say that even the “congruent merit” that we gain from our own good works is merely “congruent” — they would be say it is “grace filled, … Continue reading Bishop Barron’s Pelagianism

Shapiro on the Afterlife

I watched a video in which a woman asked Ben Shapiro questions about his worldview. These often vary on subjects from politics to metaphysics. He gives his view of what he believes about the afterlife: https://youtu.be/z7sg7CmyMb8?t=36s He thinks we have a “divine spark” and that at the end of time we will be “absorbed” back into God. That is an interesting and strange view. It seems to me essentially incoherent. Man is essentially apart of God. He thinks there is a possibility that we might maintain our individuality, but how could we if we are united to God? If the … Continue reading Shapiro on the Afterlife

Shapiro vs Harris

I usually don’t speak about Ben Shapiro or Sam Harris but they recently had a debate. I reject both materialism and Judaism. Both men are prominent and popular in current conservative circles. They represent the two sects that exist in conservativism: Religious and Non-religious. The question will one day become which of these undergird that political system. The village atheist thinks that Harris is actually some genius and the theist thought Ben got him on the issue of Freewill. This goes to show how each group lacks critical thinking skills. Harris is asked how does he avoid the naturalistic fallacy. … Continue reading Shapiro vs Harris
