When a Cactus misses the Point

Necessitarian had a dialogue with an atheist named Cactus: Cactus: I understand that the problem of induction is philosophically pressing. To base your worldview on whatever answers this one complicated question best seems fair to me. But it does not follow that it’s True. I believe you will always win the argument of coherence in this chat, but – I’ve said it once and I will say it till it is properly addressed: A claim to knowledge != knowledge. ” ” ” Ultimate truth != ultimate truth And unfortunately, the Christian Worldview, as presented, is only actually coherent IF its … Continue reading When a Cactus misses the Point

Class is in Session

I recently noticed someone tried to rebut my article on Leighton Flowers called ‘How to Flunk Soteriology101’. That is nice to see that Leighton’s followers are picking up the slack for him. The issue often is that his followers often don’t add any new content and only repeat old stale lines that Flowers gives them. But it would be believed for its own nobility, and for … Continue reading The Self-Attesting Christ

A little Presup before Dinner

This is an article that is an introduction to what I believe the method of Reformed Apologetics that we should use and that should be understood as the best approach. 1. Transcendental Argument: This is just an introduction to the presuppositionalist argument known as TAG. TAG stands for the transcendental argument for God’s existence. What is a transcendental argument(TA)? They are arguments that deal with preconditions of knowledge and I think it could be expanded to one that deals with the preconditions for ethics. These are truths that are necessary for other truths to make sense. It means that a certain belief is … Continue reading A little Presup before Dinner
