I find that most atheists are antirealist when it comes to morals. They yet spend their lives wasting away to discuss the issue of political systems. They tend to be angry communist-socialist with many strange arguments for it. The issue is they are anti-realist about ethics and think that their political beliefs are better than another. But given the rejection of objective moral norms and obligation no system is “better” than another and nothing obligates you to push their idea. This debate that was supposed to be a debate about indulgences turned into a debate about Church Authority and Protestant canon. Peter lives in the modern time where epistemology is done without any regard for metaphysics, but that hasn’t been the narrative throughout history. The Euthyphro Dilemma sets theist with a Dilemma. Is God’s will good because he wills it, or because it appeals to an outside standard of goodness? Robert Rowe on Sensus Plenior

I was reading an exchange between Dr. Bowen and Robert Rowe and found the exchange was missing the real issue. I won’t reproduce the whole exchange that occurred, but I will provide a link.
