Mohammed Hijab vs David Wood

The least impressive debaters of the Abrahamic religions are Muslims. It is not something to watch and be edified but to endure. There was a debate between Dr. David Wood and Mohammed Hijab on the issue of the Trinity vs Tawhid. Hijab’s case is being debunked claim by claim by multiple sources. I’m going to share criticisms of Hijab and leave it up to the listener. 1. The most annoying thing about listening to Muslim is the fact that accurate representation of other worldviews are impossible and they employ such silly double standards that it is impossible not to choke … Continue reading Mohammed Hijab vs David Wood

Murder on Apologetics Row

Suppose you were locked in a mansion with 10 other individuals. You come to find that one of the 10 other individuals have murdered the owner of the mansion. You proceed to look for every piece of evidence available. You decided the evidential route was better than “The Butler did it”. You quickly find the evidence is limited and doesn’t demarcate one specific person as the criminal over another. Tensions are surely going to rise throughout the night as nobody can trust the other. The position you are in is a difficult one. But would you say that you are … Continue reading Murder on Apologetics Row

ContraArianism, Part 3

Here is another installment of my conversation with ContraModalism. ContraModalism: “I don’t understand what you think you’ve actually established. Your objection that being God isn’t an ontological statement but merely one about relations is unconvincing.” Well I’ve presented you with the evidence I see for Godhood being dominion, and have been able to easily answer every supposed objection to it you have brought forward. So find it unconvincing if you like, but it seems to me you lack a reason. “You already granted that the phrase is actually about ontology.” I don’t know where you get the idea that I’ve … Continue reading ContraArianism, Part 3

ContraArianism, Part 2

I engaged in another back and forth with ContraModalism. ContraModalism: I did not say that God is dominion, but that divinity or Godhood is dominion. In other words a God is a being which possesses dominion, and deity or divinity is dominion. As for your question of if the Son shares all the ontological attributes with the Father required to exercise dominion, I have already answered you several times on this in the affirmative. And I agree that the Son possesses the same divinity as the Father, in that He shares in the Father’s dominion over all things. Your problem … Continue reading ContraArianism, Part 2

ContraArianism, Part 1

I have been continued the conversation from a previous post and we’ll see how long this conversation will continue: http://spirited-tech.com/COG/2018/10/31/godhood-and-dominion/ ContraModalism: I do not appreciate your constant misrepresentations of my position, and your failure to meaningfully respond to many of the points I’ve brought up. For instance I have cited scriptural reasons why I understand Godhood/divinity to be relative and relational, and to be dominion, and you have for the most part ignored these and tried to dismiss my observations on what scripture teaches as a mere invention on my part designed to support my views. This is not the … Continue reading ContraArianism, Part 1

Vote Democratic

I recently got into a debate with a Democrat on politics and figure that I would share the conversation in a more readable fashion here. I tried to reason with the unreasonable and here is how it went: Richard Curren: Vote Democratic. Republicans are too corrupt, dishonest, racist, bigoted and stupid to manage a society. TheSire: You claim Republicans are corrupt but no evidence actually supports that. But suppose they were for a moment. If Washington was filled with corruption, then why would you support politicians(Democrats) that want to create more laws that take away the wealth of Americans through … Continue reading Vote Democratic
